Four Venezuelans arrested for drugs in Peru

Four Venezuelan citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto by agents of the Central Emergency Unit. According to the official report, the subjects would be members of the criminal gang “Los Chamos de Yerbateros”, involved in the commission of crimes of attempted murder, receiving stolen goods, drugs, illegal possession of weapons, among others. The incident occurred in El Agustino, Lima, Peru.

Those arrested were identified as Erick Jesús Guanipa Maldonado (31) alias “Rick”, Wilker Alexis Osorio Tovar (26) alias “Will”, Alberto Enrique Escobar Álvarez (27) alias “Kike” and Luinder Moisés Waitticak Quiroz (26) alias “Moncho”.

Agents from the Lima Police Region Center of the Salamanca police station carried out the arrest procedure. During the personal and vehicle search, four cell phones, ammunition and a Glock pistol with a magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition were seized.

They were also seized two bags containing cocaine hydrochloride, a bag with 300 grams of dried plant species, apparently marijuana, and 200 “ketes” of PBC. The Venezuelans and the species were placed at the disposal of the PNP agency.
