This film, which is close to the classic formula of the romantic comedy although with some current twists, has a cast full of stars: Jonah Hill, Lauren London, Eddie Murphy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Duchovny, Nia Long and many others put themselves at the service of Kenya Barris (“Black-ish”).
According to critics, the performances stand out more than the script, but good times are spent with this entertaining proposal.
It lasts for 117 minutes. and it is a good alternative to enjoy during the weekend.
The Immortal (Series, HBO Max)
“During the 1990s, cocaine trafficking and its distribution in Madrid nightclubs was in the hands of a gang that monopolized hundreds of front pages and television shows: Los Miami. “The Immortal” was the boss of all of them. This story is inspired by his reign and the city that saw him die so many times, ”explains the summary of this praised 8-episode series.
Directed by José Manuel Lorenzo, Rafa Montesinos and David Ulloa, It is presented in 50-minute episodes and was nominated for several awards.
Its cast is made up of Álex García, María Hervás, Jon Kortajarena, Emilio Palacios and Claudia Pineda, among others; and it stands out for having an exceptional script and first-rate performances by its protagonists.
Reminiscence (Movie, Amazon Prime Video)
Hugh Jackman as protagonist. Lisa Joy (“Westworld”) as director. Science fiction, thriller and romance. These arguments should be enough to reserve a space and enjoy this proposal, but it also has great criticism.

He lives off the coast of Miami, which is largely submerged under the sea. One day, his life changes when Mae, a new client, appears”, explains the synopsis of this film that, in its 111 minutes, keeps us on the edge of our seats. Rebecca Ferguson, Thandiwe Newton and Cliff Curtis accompany Jackman.
I am extraordinary (Series, Star +)
This story takes place in a world where everyone develops a power when they turn 18… everyone except Jen. She’s turning 25 and still waiting for her superpower. The truth is that she would not put “buts” to almost anything: Super speed? Laser eyes? The ability to never fail to connect a USB? she would accept it all. In a big and confusing world, with very little hope and much despair, Jen sets out on her journey to find her own superpower.
This British series has a cast made up of Máiréad Tyers, Sofia Oxenham, Bilal Hasna, Luke Rollason, Siobhan McSweeney and others. It has 25-minute chapters, and the specialized press highlights it for being particularly entertaining.
