Wien. Walter Böswarth, Lena Prucher, Christina Stifter and Thomas Trojer are now Directors in Tax/BPS at the consulting firm Deloitte.
Walter Böswarth (55) has been the new Director of Tax Advice at Deloitte Austria since January 2022. Born in St. Pöltner, he has been with Deloitte as a tax consultant since 1990. He works in the core tax area and has specialized in the areas of tax compliance, international tax law as well as corporation tax and reorganizations. In his new role, he will be responsible for tax support for group companies and tax compliance with increased use of technology tools.
Lena Prucher (37) was appointed Director in the Tax/BPS department at Deloitte Austria at the turn of the year. She has been working at Deloitte for 15 years and has been in charge of payroll outsourcing since 2015. Born in Salzburg, she has focused on labour, wage tax and social security law. She is part of Deloitte’s global payroll team.
Promotions in tax consulting and auditing
At the beginning of the year, Christina Stifter (36) was promoted to Director in tax consulting at Deloitte Austria. Born in Burgenland, she has been a tax consultant at Deloitte since 2008 and is a specialist in sales tax issues with a focus on VAT compliance, TMC & VAT litigation. She is also a certified financial criminals expert, specialist author and specialist lecturer.
Thomas Trojer (38), tax consultant and auditor, was appointed Director in the Tax/BPS division at the beginning of the year. Born in Tyrol, he started at Deloitte 14 years ago. He has placed his focus on the area of BPS Finance & Accounting. Trojer has also specialized in consolidation, special issues in corporations and special projects in accounting. In the future, he and his team will focus in particular on the challenges faced by listed and international companies.
