Another four Austrians were brought to safety from Gaza on Monday. As the Foreign Ministry told APA in the evening, the two couples were “successfully evacuated to Egypt via the Rafah border crossing” thanks to the intensive efforts of the Foreign Ministry, the Austrian representative office in Ramallah and the Austrian Embassy in Tel Aviv.
After crossing the border, they were received by a red-white-red crisis team from the Austrian Embassy in Cairo and taken to the Egyptian capital.
