Four killed from the gang “Maykel El Seco” left confrontation

Four alleged members of the “Maykel El Seco” gang were killed during a confrontation with security officials. It happened in Morón, Carabobo state.

Among the fallen is the “second in command”, identified as Darwin José Zavala Ollarve, known as “el Raya’o”, in addition to two others whose nicknames are only known, “el Ñoño” and “el Chupi” and a third for which there is no data.

The journalist Heberlizeth González pointed out that the alleged exchange of shots took place on the Covetra hill, where a commission from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrived, supported by the Juan José Mora Municipal Police.

They had the information that the criminals were there. In a first confrontation two fell and then the other two.

During the procedure, a 7.62 caliber rifle, two pistols, a revolver, a grenade and a 5.56 mm cartridge magazine belonging to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces were seized, which had been stolen from Brigadier General Sergio Negrín in October 2020, following murdering him along with Sergeant Deivis Eduardo Suárez, in an ambush to rob them on the Cimarrón Andresote highway, El Carabobeño published.

Last May, the mother of “El Raya’o”, Gladys Ollarve de Zavala, was murdered along with one of her employees in the upper part of Covetra.

His relatives and relatives are convinced that those responsible would be alleged police officers, which is why they started a campaign on social networks to demand justice, as they assure that they were innocent people.
