Four people died in a collision on the Tomsk-Mariinsk highway between a truck and an ambulance on December 14. Among the dead were three doctors and one driver of the regional perinatal center. They went to help the patient.
Earlier it became known that the collision of a KamAZ truck with an ambulance happened in the followingnoon on the 46th kilometer of the highway Tomsk – Mariinsk. Then the vehicles caught fire. The prosecutor’s office of the region reported that the truck driver was in the hospital, and the people who were in the ambulance died.
The governor of the Tomsk region, Vladimir Mazur, later reported that four people had died. They were employees of the regional perinatal center.
According to Mazur, the deputy chief physician of the regional perinatal center, the head of the adult intensive care unit, a nurse and an ambulance driver died.
“Unique specialists, real professionals, wonderful people who were always in a hurry to help. We went to help the patient,” the governor said.
A representative of the regional health department told vtomske.ru that Alla Vladimirovna Karmanova, deputy chief physician of the regional perinatal center for obstetric and gynecological care, died; chief freelance specialist of the Department of Health of the Tomsk region in anesthesiology and resuscitation in obstetrics and gynecology, head of the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation of the OPC Yuri Aleksandrovich Bochkov.
The nurse of the remote consultation center of the perinatal center, Natalya Andreevna Ivanova, and the driver of the remote consultation center of the OPC, Mikhail Valeryevich Krinitsyn, also died in the accident.
The Investigative Committee reported that it initiated the transfer of materials on the accident from the bodies of inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Like later reported vtomske.ru representative of the regional health department, the doctors had to transport the patient of the Asinovskaya district hospital to the regional perinatal center.
