Four Chinese men arrested in Phnom Penh for human trafficking

Cambodian police arrested four Chinese men suspected of human trafficking in Phnom Penh on Monday (29th). On the way from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh, the capital, he was arrested by the police according to law.

The police announced on Tuesday (30th) that the Sihanoukville police informed the police in many provinces that the suspects of Chinese nationality involved fled from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh, and hoped that the provinces along the line would cooperate with the arrest. The suspect was suspected of chartering a car from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh. The car was stopped by the police when it passed through the province of real residence, but they refused to cooperate. Instead, they speeded up and fled, and finally ended up on the road network entering the city. The four and a Cambodian driver were detained at the Anti-Human Trafficking Bureau for further questioning.
