In an effort to maintain security during Holy Week, the Bogotá Police announced the arrest of four people in the towns of Kennedy and Usaquén, for crimes related to the illegal carrying of weapons and drug trafficking.
These captures were carried out within the framework of the comprehensive security policy, Bogotá Walk Safely.
The first individual was arrested at La Terminal de Transportes del Norte, in the town of Usaquén.

During checks on the intermunicipal and interdepartmental service buses, the uniformed officers discovered that the subject was carrying a firearm with ammunition.
This weapon mentioned did not have the corresponding safe-conduct or permits for its carrying.
On the other hand, the other three individuals were captured in the town of Kennedy, southwest of the city.
They were intercepted by the authorities while traveling on public roads with a firearm and 20 cartridges of different calibers.
In addition, they had 380 doses of narcotics in their possession.

According to investigations, these detainees would be related to the sale of drugs in several neighborhoods of the town.
The four detainees were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office in the URIs of Paloquemao and Carvajal.
