The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center announced the appearance of four bright planets adorning the sky of Kuwait these days, which can be seen with the naked eye with a luster similar to the luminosity of stars with a difference in glow, which are Jupiter and Saturn, giants of the solar system, in addition to Venus and Mars.

The general supervisor of the center, Khaled Al-Jamaan, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Monday, that Venus can be seen with the naked eye immediately after sunset for half an hour, while Saturn can be seen at 10.18 pm. And he indicated that Jupiter, which continues to exist in the sky, From sunset until 1:23 a.m., and finally the planet Mars, which appears at exactly 5:35 p.m. and disappears in the morning with sunrise. The two groups reported that Mars, the second smallest planet in the solar system, will increase in brightness in the sky and reach its peak brightness next month, and it appears these days in the sky as a star. Very bright red, due to the availability of large amounts of iron oxide in the composition of its rocks.

He mentioned that Jupiter and Saturn will shine in a distinctive way and are called the guardians of the earth, as their great gravity allows them to attract any body or celestial stone heading towards the earth, which makes us relatively safe from the danger of devastating collisions. Al-Jamaan mentioned that the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center will organize special days to monitor these planets when The weather conditions permitted that. The Space Museum at the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Center displays scientific information about the planets of the solar system and space flights with the latest means, in addition to the astronomical devices and equipment that are used in monitoring and documenting astronomical phenomena.
