Foster Moreau is set to sign a contract with the New Orleans Saints in the NFL despite being diagnosed with cancer in March.
As “ESPN” reported on Wednesday, the 26-year-old tight end is said to have agreed on a three-year contract of up to $ 12 million with the franchise from the state of Louisiana.
Moreau had already introduced himself to the Saints in March as a potential new signing. The medical team from New Orleans diagnosed Hodgkin’s lymphoma in the 26-year-old.
According to his agent, Moreau is now reported to have had positive results following treatment and has been given the “green light” to return to the football field.
