It is as part of the Series 10 update of Forza Horizon 5 that all these new features will be accessible.
Available to download on Xbox, Windows, and Steam starting July 19, the Series 10 update includes access to the Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels expansion, new Extreme E content, and plenty of bug fixes and changes for improve the gaming experience.
The Series 10 also introduces a new save recovery system. With this update installed, if loss of save data is detected, players will see a pop-up message offering to restore a previous save. Players will not be able to recover lost saves prior to Series 10 with this new system.
