Attack “Zenith” Yuri Alberto signed a contract with the Brazilian “Corinthians”. This was announced on Twitter by journalist Marco Bello.
“Yuri Alberto is a Corinthians player,” Belo wrote.
The contract format of the 21-year-old player has not been specified. It is not known whether this is an agreement on a permanent basis, or whether he signed a lease contract.
Earlier it was reported that Alberto might use the permission of FIFA and suspend the contract with the Russian club. Zenit CEO Alexander Medvedev and head coach Sergei Semak confirmed that the Brazilian might go on loan.
Alberto has been playing for Zenit since January 2022, his contract is valid until June 30, 2027. The forward played 15 matches for the Blue-White-Blues, scoring 8 goals and making 4 assists. He became the champion of Russia as part of the St. Petersburg club in the 2021/22 season.
