These two major updates led to millions of players returning to the game, such as the introduction of LEGO Fortnite, and now with Christmas and the holiday season, more players are returning to the island in droves.

One player, in particular, was left baffled following finding an unused skin code that turned out to be one of the rarest skins in Fortnite.

Xbox player Admirable_Zombie5245 revealed his discovery on Reddit, showing a photo of the unused skin code bundle.
“I bought a controller years ago and just found this, is it that rare? I have no experience with Fortnite”posted Admirable_Zombie5245.

After Fortnite players quickly flooded the comments, they were stunned to discover that their gift code gave them an Eon skin, which has long been recognized as one of the rarest in the game.

“For once, someone asks ‘is this rare?’ and it really is”read the most popular comment, while another claimed: “it sells for thousands, I would sell it if I didn’t play the game.”
Many players have debated the value of the Eon skin, believing that the player might get “at least $500-1000”with some even saying more if he chose to sell it.
The Eon Skin Bundle, which contains the Eon outfit and 500 V-Bucks, was released on September 27, 2018, as part of a limited promotional bundle for players who purchased the Xbox One S console or a controller.
