Ninja: “I’ve had enough”

Former professional player on the Halo saga, Tyler Ninja Blevins saw his popularity explode on the video game Fortnite. He is still today the one with the most subscribers on Twitch, Amazon’s broadcasting platform: 18.3 million when his dolphin (AuronPlay) totals 13.7 million. He is undoubtedly one of the most influential personalities in gaming, an influence which had then seen Microsoft try to use him: thanks to a contract of (probably) several tens of millions of dollars, the Redmond firm had succeeded to invite the star to his own streaming platform called Mixer. A few months later, it’s a failure and Ninja is back on Twitch.

Tyler Blevins is resuming his Fortnite live streams averaging around 10,000 viewers per stream. The lives are organized on a regular basis with two or three direct per week. A regularity that is no longer relevant for the moment: during his last live stream last Friday, Ninja suddenly stopped playing and left the live in a hurry with disturbing statements :

I can’t take these players anymore, I’ve had enough. I’m not even kidding, I’ve had enough. I am leaving. It’s finish. I’m going to take a break from streaming. I’m going to be crazy. I don’t know when I’m going to be live once more, where I’m going to be live next but I have to go.

Simple staging?

A sudden departure from Twitch: Ninja’s channel is no longer affiliated “Partner“. A pause that he also mentions on his Twitter page, from which he deleted the profile photo and replaced his name with “User not found” :

I just need a break… I don’t know when or where I’ll be back.

Statements that have aroused the curiosity of some Internet users who find it strange. Why does he not know where he will return? Suspicions thickened by Ninja’s statement just before the stream where he announces that he is taking a break: He then stated that “big things” were in preparation. What to question the community, which suspects an exclusive contract with Youtube Gaming.

In any case, we will wait for an official communication from Tyler “Ninja“Blevins to make sure of it while hoping that this break will be rewarding for him. Mental load and burnout on Twitch are subjects that some French streamers have spoken regarding: this is particularly the case with Jean Massiet, Alphacast or Ponce.
