According to the latest leaks, Epic Games is developing flying and rideable pets for Fortnite! Here’s everything you need to know about Chapter 4’s flying mounts!
Since Chapter 3, Season 3 Fortnite players were able to ride animals! Before that happened, leaks were circulating the internet that this feature may soon have been added to the island – when it was finally released, players were beyond thrilled. But if that impressed you, wait. Because now leaks indicate that there will even be flying mounts in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1!
Flying mounts are coming to Fortnite
A Twitter post from our good friend and king of Fortnite leakers, HYPEX, claims that Epic Games is working on “mountable flying beasts” for Fortnite.

You will be able to Boost & Idle. And that’s most likely what this “Saddle” item is for.

Apparently, players will be able to boost the animal for more speed and fly in “slow motion”. Slow motion would likely mean the mount could hover in the air to allow players to more accurately shoot or throw objects. Earlier, an item that looked like a saddle in Fortnite was leaked. Presumably, this item could be related to flying mounts.
We don’t know what kind of animals it could be. Fantastic figures such as dragons or a Pegasus would be possible. Or maybe Fortnite is reinventing itself and bringing a flying llama into play. The possibilities are endless and we will see, what will happen in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1.
