While the Mercedes F1 W14 appeared to be on track in yesterday’s followingnoon session in Bahrain, it was quite the opposite this morning with Lewis Hamilton at the wheel.

The Briton was struggling to find grip with his single-seater as explained by Toto Wolff.

“The car was out of balance this morning, and you can see that as it drives it leaves black marks on acceleration.”

“It’s hot, and we just haven’t found the right setup for these conditions, which I guess is part of learning with a new car.”

“It’s not because the driver is pushing the tires or the car too much, it’s the car not giving you enough rear grip. daytime.”
