Former Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People’s Committee Truong Minh Hien and former Director of Ha Nam Department of Natural Resources and Environment Vu Huu Song have been prosecuted and detained.
On February 15, the Investigation Police Agency – Ha Nam Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the accused, an order to arrest the accused for temporary detention, and a search warrant for Mr. Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ha Nam Province) and Mr. Vu Huu Song (SN 1959, former Director of Ha Nam Department of Natural Resources and Environment) for the crime of “lack of responsibility, causing serious consequences”, specified in Clause 2, Article 285 of the Code. 1999 (amended and supplemented in 2009).
Mr. Hien and Mr. Song were arrested in connection with violations in the case “Violation of regulations on resource exploitation” which occurred at Hang Diem mountain, Lien Son commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province from 2017 to year 2021.
The above-mentioned procedural decisions and orders have been approved by the People’s Procuracy of Ha Nam province. On the same day, Ha Nam Provincial Police executed the above decisions and orders.
Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Ha Nam Provincial Public Security is consolidating the file, continuing to investigate and clarify the violations of the relevant organizations and individuals, ensuring thorough handling of the case.
