Former Attorney General Bill Barr says Trump’s alleged actions, as described in the indictment, are “disgusting” and “despicable.”

The former US Attorney General Bill Barr spoke out once morest Donald Trump ahead of his court appearance for allegedly trying to overturn his 2020 election defeat. Barr, who was appointed by the ex-president, said Trump “knew full well that he lost the election.”

Trump is accused by federal prosecutors of repeatedly lying regarding mass voter fraud and urging officials to alter the results to keep him in power.

The latest indictment indicts Trump on four counts, including conspiracy, obstruction of an official process and conspiracy to violate the right of citizens to have their votes counted.
