There is no big difference in fees from fights according to the rules of boxing and mixed martial arts, Ivan Shtyrkov, ex-fighter of the UFC and the Archangel Michael team, told RBC Sport.
“I don’t have much, there is not much difference. I get paid the same as for fights. I always have very good fees at RCC,” said Shtyrkov.
Ismailov with the phrase “this is not easy money” appreciated the upcoming fight with Shtyrkov
Mixed martial arts fighters Ismailov and Shtyrkov will fight according to the rules of boxing, the fight will take place on March 7 in Yekaterinburg and will be the main event of the RCC Boxing Promotion tournament.
Both fighters have already fought according to the rules of professional boxing: Ismailov defeated Olarevaju Duradola and Alexander Ilic, Shtyrkov defeated Ivan Smirnov.
34-year-old Shtyrkov won 22 victories in his professional career. He also has two losses and one draw.
Shtyrkov signed a contract with the UFC in May 2019, but did not fight a single fight in the promotion, since a small amount of a prohibited drug for gaining muscle mass was found in his doping test. The Russian did not wait for the decision of the disciplinary commission and terminated the contract.
