Former UC player sentenced to 16 years in prison for rape of his goddaughter

A complex panorama faces the justice of the former Catholic University player, Jonathan Fabbro, who in 2019 was sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexually abusing his goddaughter from 6 to 12 years of age.

The situation came to light in 2016, when the Argentine midfielder who also played for River Plate, Boca Juniors and Cerro Porteño wore the Chiapas de México shirt. That year, the soccer player was accused of the crimes of sexual abuse mentioned above. The arrest warrant in the Aztec country was finalized a year later.
