The former President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, will visit Angola, in the second half of 2023, at the invitation of the patron of the Piedoso Foundation, Elias Chimuco.
As advances the Angola newspaperthe main purpose of the visit is to deepen cooperation in the areas of philanthropy, taking into account the various projects developed and to be developed by the philanthropic organization, focused on health, education, training of staff, and community assistance”, refers the note.
According to the note to which the Angola newspaper had access, the visit of the former President of Brazil is being awaited with “many expectations”, depending on the protocols that are intended to be signed between the two parties.
In November of this year, a delegation from Fundação Piedoso, headed by Elias Chimuco, was in the State of São Paulo on the 18th, 19th and 20th, where it participated in the “2nd edition of the International Business Forum for Racial Equity”, organized by the organization Mover and Racial, and took place at the Universidade Zumbi dos Palmares, an educational institution created to combat the exclusion of young people and black adults in higher education.
This event brought together more than 50 presidents of companies and institutions, and aimed to analyze questions regarding racism in the corporate environment, as well as build consensus and solutions to combat discrimination and structural racism.
