The former Wolves GM, fired in September after more than two years at Minnesota, brings his experience to a franchise led by Leon Rose (president) and William Wesley (vice president), who had never held these positions before arriving in New York.
Gersson Rosas, despite problems with the Wolves, since his methods were described as “dysfunctional”, had also spent 17 years with the Rockets. He is therefore a keen observer and he has links with Leon Rose precisely, to whom he would be close.
Will he have time to deliver advice by the final hours of the transfer market? Recent rumors speak of a triangle trade with the Lakers and Raptors, and more generally, it is almost every player or almost of the New York roster who is likely to move, to save a season badly embarked.
