Former Minister Ziyad Baroud commented on the words of the head of the Marada Movement, former Minister Suleiman Franjieh, and said in a statement, “Despite the personally offensive speech, I extend my sincere condolences to the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, in memory of his father, his family, and his martyr comrades. with each other”.

He added, “On the occasion of what he singled out for me in his words, I would really like to thank him for describing me as a “salary”, as this was my upbringing on the basis of “insulting people does not make you a strong person”. I am proud of what I was able to do with elections in one day, the erasure of sectarian registration, administrative reform, a project for administrative decentralization, and other issues that the Sikorsky floats were among, a gift that did not cost the Lebanese state a single penny! He even borrowed fires, just like in politics, and in presidential elections that still leave severe burns on the body of the nation.

And he concluded: “In any case, I did not think that sarcasm was the characteristic of the supposed owners of chivalry, and it is definitely not the style of presidents.”

It is noteworthy that Franjieh said on Sunday that the “Free Patriotic Movement” put forward the name of Ziad Baroud, who is a “tidy and kind” person, but he retracted and nominated Jihad Azour, and told Mahali that “the achievement achieved by Minister Baroud is fire-fighting aircraft, which were sold for scrap.”
