With this appointment, which must still be “subject to ratification by the next general meeting of Air France-KLM” on June 5, according to the group, Florence Parly will recover the seat of Isabelle Parize.
The airline group specifies that the appointment of Florence Parly, 60 years old, “is part of the perspective of the succession of Anne-Marie Couderc as president of the board of directors, at the latest at the end of the general meeting 2025 ruling on the accounts for the year 2024”.
A former Air France employee
At 73, former minister Anne-Marie Couderc is affected by the age limit, but Air France-KLM plans to submit “to the 2024 general assembly” a “modification” of its statutes “in order to allow the extension” of her mandate as president of the board of directors “for an additional year”.
Énarque, former advisor to Lionel Jospin at Matignon in 1997 then Secretary of State for the Budget in 2000, Florence Parly knows Air France well, where she worked from 2006 to 2014, occupying the positions of director of investment strategy, then as deputy general director, initially in charge of the cargo activity before short-haul.
