FORMER KPU member for the 2012-2017 period Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah was appointed as Acting Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Perindo Party. Ferry replaces Ahmad Rofiq who resigned from his position as Secretary General of Perindo.

Ferry’s appointment was carried out through the Perindo Party Unity Council (MPP), which was chaired directly by the General Chair of Perindo Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Ferry, who is also Deputy General Chair of Perindo, is expected to be able to modernize the party and prepare it to face the 2024 regional elections and the 2029 elections.

Responding to his appointment, Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah stated that his appointment was a form of great trust and a challenge to advance the Party. Perindo will immediately consolidate and transform the party to strengthen the structure from the center to the branches, in order to win the upcoming political contestation.
“We will continue to consolidate ourselves and strengthen the party down to the branch level to win the 2024 regional elections and the 2029 elections,” said Ferry in Jakarta, Friday (4/10).

Ferry continued, Perindo is committed to representing people’s hopes and trying to transform the Indonesian government by focusing on the people’s economy, MSMEs and various other important aspects. With this spirit, Perindo is optimistic that it can have a positive impact on Indonesian society.
“Including aspects of politics, law, human rights, national security and defense, as well as food and energy security,” he said. (D-3)
