Former Florida Gators Shine in Week Four of NFL Action

2023-10-02 18:31:49

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  This week in the NFL was characterized by Taylor Swift, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and seemingly ranch. Football was in fact played this weekend, however, and that means former Florida Gators were back in action.

Let’s take a look at some of our best performances from week four of NFL action.

Offensive Highlights

Anthony Richardson and the Colts staged a near-comeback, going into the locker room at halftime down 20-0, and crawling all the way back to tie the game at 23 with this huge two-point conversion with less than two minutes to go.

Richardson also etched his name into the record books, becoming the first quarterback in the Super Bowl Era to have a TD run in each of his first three career games.

Defensive Highlights

Jonathan Greenard had a huge game once morest Pittsburgh, racking up three tackles for loss, including two sacks. Just a few years removed from leading the SEC in sacks, Greenard seems to be finding that form once more at the next level.

Special Teams Highlights

Eddy Pineiro went three-for-three in kick attempts this weekend, including drilling a career-long 56-yard field goal, which put his Panthers up 13-7 headed into halftime.
