Former deputy of the Rada Andrii Antonyshchak died

Andrii Antonyshchak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation, died.

As reported by Ukrinform, Iryna Herashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity parliamentary faction, reported this in Facebook.

“In the morning, we received sad news. Our colleague, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, Andriy Antonyshchak, died. Andriy fought and was wounded. But then it blew,” Gerashchenko said.

According to her, the war caught up with Antonyshchak in the rear, his health undermined.

“We called each other from time to time, Andriy was very acutely experiencing the situation at the front, we discussed the provision of units and humanitarian aid. In the parliament, Andriy was in the People’s Front team, we worked together in the coalition. We remember you, friend…Our deepest condolences to the family,” Gerashchenko emphasized .

As reported, Andriy Antonyshchak was born on June 23, 1969 in Novoy Rozdol, Lviv region. Coordinator of the 1st operational battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine. People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation, member of the parliamentary faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party, former member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy.
