Former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ dancer Denitsa Ikonomova announces she is pregnant with her first child

The “Dancing with the Stars” family is growing. Denitsa Ikonomova announced her pregnancy on Instagram, revealing a photo of her rounded belly. “For life,” wrote the 37-year-old dancer in the caption, who has not set foot on the TF1 dance floor for two seasons. An injury notably pushed her to move away from the talent show in which she shone for ten years, winning four times.

Out of sight but always close to the heart, many of her former colleagues commented on the publication of the future mother. Elsa Bois, Candice Pascal, Mary Denigot, Christophe Licata and Grégoire Lyonnet congratulated her, as did former participants of the show. Iris Mittenaere, Keen V and Terence Telle also had a few words for the thirty-year-old.

“The Best Tattoo Artist” on RMC Story

Denitsa Ikonomova has hung up her ballet shoes, but she is not done with television. Since March, she has been presenting “Le Meilleur Tatoueur” on RMC Story, a competition in which four experienced tattoo artists compete each week in new technical and creative challenges.

“As a judge on Dancing with the Stars, I learned about hosting and expressing myself in front of the camera. I’m interested in everything to do with art,” the dancer confided at the launch. She added: “I love challenges, challenges, and when I got the call offering me this daily show, it resonated with me. I didn’t know this world, it made me want to discover it and I was right to follow my instincts.” She is now preparing to learn the ropes as a mother.
