Beijing: Former Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang passed away. He was 68 years old. He died due to a heart attack.

He was the Prime Minister of China for ten years. Li Keqiang, who served two terms as Prime Minister under President Xi Jinping, stepped down last March.

Li Keqiang, an economist, was a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Chinese Communist Party from 2012 to 2022.

Li Keqiang, who was close to former President Hu Jintao, has been a champion of economic reforms. He has also served as the head of the Chinese State Council.
