Tariq Al-Nofal, sports writer and former director of the media center at Al-Shabab Club, revealed that the former management of the Al-Asmi Club, headed by Khaled Al-Baltan, filed two cases once morest him, expressing his remorse for his actions with Al-Ahly Club.
This came in his answers to the questions of colleague Majid Al-Tuwaijri on the “Penalty Kick” program, which “Al-Riyadiya” broadcasts on its platform on “YouTube”, the social networking site.
Al-Nawfal attributed the anger of Fouad Anwar, the former team captain, to his not being invited to the opening of the club’s new stadium.
The former director of the media center said that working with youth currently is the most difficult at the level of Saudi clubs… and the conflicts that occurred prompted many to move away, and I am one of them.
Al-Nawfal said: “I did not enter the media with a parachute. I have been a media founder since 1996, and the first youth match I attended was in 1407 AH.”
He added: “My relationship with Muhammad Al-Munajim, the club’s president, is excellent, and I did not use a crescent element to spread information that he is a Nasrawi. I do not need anyone.”
He continued: “I have never encouraged Al-Nasr, and I love Majed Abdullah, and I have no problem announcing that.”
