The controversial Egyptian artist surprised Ahmed Fluxhis audience with a message announcing his repentance and his retirement from art.
Flux wrote through his official account on the “Instagram” application, saying: “I testify that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God… I have decided to repent to God in repentance, hoping for His forgiveness, and to do everything in my power to be on the straight path.”
He also continued: “I ask anyone who I have offended one day and anything happened to me to forgive me. I forgive all people and I do not want anything from anyone.”
He also said, “I pray for all those I have known in my life that God enlightens them as he enlightened my path for me and guides them.”
It is noteworthy that the artist Ahmed Flux sparked controversy in the recent period, following he raised several crises with some artists, the motive of which was the rejection of their statements, which he found open and do not fit the traditions of Egyptian society from his point of view.
The last work of Flux on the cinema screen was the movie “The Corridor”, starring Ahmed Ezz and Ahmed Rizk, and directed by Sherif Arafa.
