Over the past hours, the Sudanese have been busy with a painful clip of a merchant documenting the last moments of his life before committing suicide in the Nile waters.
In the details, dozens of pedestrians and cars were surprised by a man stopping his car at the Halfaya Bridge, “the link between the cities of Khartoum Bahri and Omdurman,” and getting off it, to jump quickly without warning into the waters of the Nile River off the Halfaya area, north of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

Meanwhile, sources revealed to Al-Arabiya.net that the man works as a car dealer in the “Al-Kareen” market, one of the most famous car markets in Khartoum.
She also explained that he was suffering from complications of kidney failure recently, and that he decided to end his life to get rid of the pain.

Later, the relatives of the suicide merchant found a video clip documenting the last moments before his suicide. In the clip, which extends for regarding a minute and a half, he said that he decided, alone, without anyone participating, and with all his mental strength, to jump off the bridge with the intention of committing suicide.
He also mentioned in the painful section that he was fed up with life and no longer wanted to torment and torment those around him, asking for prayers and forgiveness. And he concluded his touching talk, asking his loved ones not to cry over him or set up a funeral pavilion!
While the clip spread widely among the Sudanese, who expressed their grief over the man’s tragedy, while others criticized his action.
