Assumption.- The National Secretariat of Tourism declared of national tourist interest, by resolution 65/15, the activity called “RAID 300K de Remo Master Concepción-Asunción”, an unprecedented sporting challenge that will take place on February 28 and March 1. The challenge aims to achieve the mark of 300 kilometers traveled uninterruptedly by rowing the Paraguay River.
The organization is in charge of the National Regatta Club “El Mbigua”, which aims to be the first to have a long-term regatta at a continental level, since until now there is no competition of this type in the region.
“This activity will serve to show all the beauty of a river that divides us as a country, but unites us as a medium,” the organizers noted.
SENATUR understands that this type of activities have spread widely in our country in recent years, achieving success in actions of this nature, which in turn help to stimulate knowledge of the country and tourist attractions. So much so that they become a tool to promote, disseminate and develop our tourism at a national and international level.
