Last month, the Ministry of Labor announced that over 600 foreigners were arrested from Muscat Governorate for violating labor laws. In February, 626 foreigners were arrested in the capital. Of these, 230 people worked elsewhere and 319 people left their jobs.
At the same time, the ministry also said that 391 people were deported for violating labor laws last month.
