Foreign Nationals Attacked at Rave Party in Israel: Casualties, Hostages, and Missing Individuals

Dozens of foreign nationals have been killed, injured or taken hostage since Hamas’ massive offensive on Saturday once morest Israel which left at least 700 dead on the Israeli side.
Several of them were attending a rave party in the desert near the border with the Gaza Strip when they were attacked.

THAILAND: 12 dead, 11 hostages

FRANCE: two killed, eight missing
A French woman and a French man were killed in the attack, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, specifying “continue the steps taken to clarify the situation of our unlocated nationals”.
On Monday, the deputy for French people abroad Meyer Habib declared that‘”at least eight French people” are said to have disappeared, died or been taken hostage, including Avidan T., 26, originally from Bordeaux (southwest) and living in Israel, who is said to be a hostage.

UNITED KINGDOM: one dead, one missing

GERMANY: several hostages
Several German nationals, who also have Israeli nationality, are among those kidnapped, the German Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

The ministry has not commented on the alleged kidnapping of a 22-year-old German-Israeli woman, Shani Louk, whom her mother said she identified in a brutal video circulating on social media.
“We can clearly see our daughter, unconscious, in the car of Palestinians crossing the Gaza Strip”, Ms. Louk said in a video in German. The girl was with friends at the rave party, her mother told Der Spiegel newspaper.

CANADA: one dead and two missing
The Canadian government said Sunday it was trying to verify information on the death of a Canadian and the disappearance of two others.

MEXICO: two hostages
Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena said two Mexicans were kidnapped.

RUSSIA: four missing
The Russian embassy in Tel Aviv said it was unable to contact “nine people permanently residing in Israel or staying there temporarily”.
“Four of them appear on the lists of missing persons” provided by Israel, according to a statement cited by Russian news agencies.

BRAZIL: three missing
The Brazilian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday “three missing Brazilians” and one “hospitalized”. The four people, who also have Israeli nationality, were participating in the rave party.

PARAGUAY: two missing
The Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday the disappearance of two Paraguayans residing in Israel.

COLOMBIA: two missing
The Israeli ambassador to Colombia assures Monday that two Colombians have disappeared. Their names would be Ivonne Rubio and Antonio Mesías Motaño. Without confirmation at this stage from the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

PANAMA: one missing
Panamanian Daryelis Denises Saez Batista “is among the missing”, according to the Panamanian government.

IRELAND: one missing
Irish and Israeli Kim Kamti, 22, missing, attended the rave party. During her last call at 7:00 a.m., she was running towards a car to escape rocket fire, according to the Irish press.
