Foreign investors cut their holdings of Chinese bonds in July for the sixth month

Foreign investors continued to reduce their holdings of Chinese bonds in July for the sixth consecutive month and began exiting China’s stock markets for the first time in four months, according to a report by the Institute of International Finance.

The report showed that $3.5 billion of foreign investment exited from Chinese stock markets, compared to $2.5 billion in investments in emerging stock markets.
