Foreign countries found that after the Intel Arc A350M turned off the DTT function, the game performance was greatly improved

Although the Intel Arc A350M, which players have been waiting for for a long time, has already been launched, it is currently only available in South Korea, and other countries have to wait until June.Korean YouTuber Share out-of-the-box and game test results, the performance is better than the GeForce MX450 GPU but not as good as the GTX 1650. For some players, it may be a bit disappointing, thinking that it is stronger. In fact, it is true. Recently, BullsLab Benchmarks found that as long as the DTT function is turned off , the game performance has been greatly improved, which shows that this function is the cause.

Intel Arc A350M greatly improves game performance following disabling DTT function

Recently, BullsLab Benchmarks uploaded a brand new Intel Arc A350M six game test, the picture quality is set at 1080p, at the beginning they showed the difference between DTT ON (on) and DTT OFF (off).

Intel® DTT stands for Intel® Dynamic Tuning Technology, which automatically and dynamically distributes power between the CPU and GPU to optimize performance and improve battery life. In the Intel Arc graphics series, this technology is called Dynamic Power Share, which is essentially the same as NVIDIA’s Dynamic Boost and AMD’s SmartShift.

When DTT is ON, the GPU usage will only be around 50%, and the clock will drop below 2000MHz, so the CPU and GPU usage are not far behind. After turning DTT OFF, the GPU usage rate is greatly increased, basically more than 90%, and the clock pulse also rises to a maximum of 2900MHz. Overall, the performance is improved by 60%~100%. It is possible to double the FPS in some scenarios, which is very poor. many:

What’s more interesting is that even if the DTT function is turned off, the power consumption of the GPU is only around 30W, and the CPU is around 28W, so it is not very high. It can be seen that the current Arc 350M driver version does not work properly with the DTT function, which leads to this result.

Here are six games tested by BullsLab Benchmarks, all performing better than the previous video.

OverWatch was originally regarding 60 FPS. After DTT is turned off, most of the pictures can run to more than 90 FPS, and even 100 FPS has appeared:

The chicken-eating game (PUBG) was originally very miserable, only 30 FPS, and it can run to 60 FPS following turning it off:

League of Legends LOL didn’t eat too much GPU performance, but the gap was quite large, jumping from 90FPS to 120FPS:

Elden Ring is quite good at GPU performance. As an entry-level graphics card, the A350M has a performance of 40FPS ~ 60FPS, which is actually quite satisfactory:

Jade Blood 2 attaches great importance to GPU performance. The A350M obviously does not run very well. After turning off DTT, the FPS is regarding 30:

Finally, the Lost Ark, which falls around 37FPS:

So, the gaming performance of Intel Arc 350M is not just like the previous Korean YouTuber test, it should be stronger.

BullsLab Benchmarks also mentioned that most games currently have DTT problems, and we can only expect Intel’s Arc driver in the future to fix this part as soon as possible.
