According to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LVĜMC), clouds will bring thunderstorms in some places, and in the evening, strong thunderstorms and even hail are expected in the east of the country.
During the day, the wind is expected to be extremely changeable – it will blow from the southwest, west, east. On the sea coast, gusts of wind will reach a speed of 15-17 meters per second, in some places in the eastern regions during a thunderstorm, gusts of wind can reach 20 meters per second.
The minimum air temperature at night on Sunday will be +15…+20 degrees. During the day the air will warm up to +18…+23 degrees in the western regions, to +24…+28 degrees in the central regions, and the warmest will be in the eastern regions, where it will warm up to +28…+30 degrees.
On Sunday night in Latvia the sky will be variable, no significant precipitation is expected. A light or moderate south-east, south wind will blow, which will increase on the sea coast in the second half of the night and will reach gusts of 15-16 meters per second. The air temperature will not be below +15…+20 degrees.
At night in Riga the cloudiness in the sky will also be variable, precipitation is not expected. A weak or moderate south-east, south wind will blow, the air temperature in the capital will not fall below +18…+20 degrees.
