Mahmoud Al-Qayati, a member of the Media Center of the General Authority of Meteorology, revealed the details of the weather on the last days of Ramadan and the first days of Eid Al-Fitr, pointing out that starting from today we will be affected by northern air masses whose temperatures are slightly low, starting from Salloum and Matrouh, and with it another depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere. .
A member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority added, in exclusive statements for the seventh day, that this leads to a noticeable decrease in temperatures on the northwestern coasts of Alexandria, Matrouh, Salloum, and the cities overlooking the northern coast.
He pointed out that the decrease also occurs during the hours of the night and early morning, so that the weather tends to be cold during the day, with a decrease in temperatures also in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, provided that the south of the country remains under the influence of hot air masses.
He added that starting tomorrow, Thursday, these air masses begin to reach northern Upper Egypt, and the beginning of a noticeable decrease in Greater Cairo, with which temperatures reach between 26 and 27 degrees over Cairo, for example, pointing out that the minimum ranges between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius.
With regard to the weather during the first day of Eid, next Friday, Al-Qayati indicated that temperatures reach 26 degrees in Greater Cairo, for example, and 15 degrees in Lesser, so that the weather is hot during the day and cold during the day.
He pointed out that the weather is generally stable and allows going out and hiking in parks and gardens and practicing marine activities during the first days of Eid Al-Fitr.
Regarding the quality of clothes on the first days of Eid, he appealed not to loosen clothes completely and to wear summer clothes, especially for children, because the weather at night tends to be cold and there is a big difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures that exceeds 15 degrees sometimes. .
