Find out the weather forecast for Cuba in the coming hours, according to meteorologist Elier Pila Fariñas.
The specialist said on Cuban TV that showers and thunderstorms were reported in much of Cuba on Sunday followingnoon. These were concentrated mainly in the central and eastern parts of the island.

He said that there will be a chance of rain on Monday, especially in the interior and southern areas.

According to the report, the morning will be sunny, with some clouds, occasional cloudy weather in areas of the northern coast of eastern Cuba and also in the central part of Cuba. There may be occasional isolated showers during the morning hours.
However, from late morning and early followingnoon, showers and thunderstorms are forecast for much of the country, especially inland and south of the west, centre and also in the east.
As for temperature values, they will show very little change. In some coastal areas of eastern Cuba, high values were recorded, with some localities reporting minimum temperatures of more than 28 degrees, the Cuban meteorologist noted.
For the followingnoon of July 15, highs of over 32 to 35 degrees are expected in some inland areas. This will occur not only in the eastern part of Cuba, but also in some localities in the rest of Cuba. In some of these localities, temperatures might be higher.

Elier Pila reported that for the next few days, weather typical of the month of July in Cuba is expected.
This means that temperatures will be “very high”, not only the maximum values in the followingnoon, but also somewhat warm early mornings, especially in coastal areas.
Some rain is also forecast during the followingnoon as tropical waves move through the country, first over the central and eastern parts, and then towards the west, advancing during this week.
