Automotive News cites an unspecified source as saying the 2024 Mustang might debut as early as September 2022 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Official presentation of the car is still pending
A previous report by Car and Driver speculated that the new Mustang might be unveiled on April 17, 2023. On that very date in 1964, the very first Mustang was presented to the world.

It’s quite likely that the new ‘Stang will carry both the V8 and EcoBoost four-cylinder from the current model. Additionally, Ford’s official announcement of the seventh generation Mustang included an image of a “real” shifter. So we assume that the manual 6-speed box will also survive.
Rumor has it that sooner or later a hybrid Mustang will also be on the agenda. Possibly in conjunction with the eight-cylinder. This would result in a very powerful all-wheel drive variant.
