Ford announces new Transit Chassis van in Brazil with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support

This Wednesday (6), Ford Pro announced the arrival of the new version of its van in Brazil. Transit Chassis promises several applications and supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Integration with cell phones with Android and iOS operating systems is done through the multimedia center that comes standard, called Sync Move. The feature has an 8-inch screen. The cabin also has a cell phone charging port with USB.

Ford still promises that the Transit Chassis is the most equipped van in the category. Among the other technological features are electric steering, air conditioning, steering wheel controls, locks and electric windows, in addition to three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Slippery.

On the safety side, the highlights are the electronic stability and traction control, torque control in curves, electronic anti-rollover control, side wind stabilization and adaptive load control.

The Transit Chassi is equipped with a 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine, with a power of 165 hp and torque of 39.7 kgfm. In addition, there is a six-speed manual transmission, four valves per cylinder, variable geometry turbo, oil-bathed timing belt and use of SAE 5W30 oil, with changes every 20,000 km.

The new Transit Chassi arrives in Brazil later this month of September in the 4.7 t versions – driven with CNH type C and with a maximum capacity of 2,601 kg – and 3.5 t – for CNH type B, capable of carrying up to 1,401 kg. kg. The first can be purchased for a suggested price of R$260,000, while the second is available at a cost of R$273,000.

For the launch, Ford will carry out a promotion limited to the first 100 units in the sum of both models, with values ​​reduced to R$ 240,000 and R$ 250,000, respectively.
