The 1965 model year car received a completely new design with vertical headlights and an improved engine with more power. In 1966, the Ford Galaxie 500 debuted with a 7-liter engine, which was borrowed from the Ford Thunderbird. The V8 developed 345 hp. and became the best choice in the Galaxie line.
An ad for a two-door hardtop recently appeared on eBay. The owner says this car is a real time capsule. Judging by the photographs, this is indeed true. Many years ago this Galaxie ended up in a private collection. It was properly cared for, so it is perfectly preserved to this day.
