A new generation of young Egyptian actors took off in the 1990s and became box office stars in just a few years.
The most prominent of them were Mohamed Henedy, Ahmed El-Sakka, Hanan Turk, and the heroine of this story, Mona Zaki.
It has emerged clearly with the generation of the film Saidi at the American University that was shown in the late twentieth century, alongside Mohamed Henedy, Hani Ramzy and Ghada Adel.
Earlier, Mona Zaki stated in a media interview that she refused to work with actor Mustafa Shaaban permanently, because of some problems between them during the filming of the movie Dreams of Our Life, which was shown in 2005, noting that these problems appeared due to the lack of experience and competence of the workers to prepare the movie.
At that time, Mustafa Shaaban, in a media interview with him on the “Kesh Malak” program, responded to the problems that appeared between him and Mona Zaki during the filming of the movie Dreams of Our Life, that what was published regarding these problems was due to the intervention of some media professionals or some curious people.
In this matter, the problems are magnified, stressing at the same time that he welcomes dealing with Mona Zaki, even though she stated that she regrets working with him.
