The state prosecution requested 15 years in prison for the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorye, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation of Vladivostok Artem Samsonov, who is accused of sexual acts once morest a minor. This was reported by Mr. Samsonov in Telegram.
“Today, in his final speech, the prosecutor repeated everything written in the indictment, with the exception of alcohol intoxication. He stated that the testimony of my 25 witnesses cannot be trusted. You can’t trust my photos. The documents presented by me cannot be trusted. Therefore, I should be imprisoned for 15 years, since the demonstration of a dildo is a particularly serious crime, ”politics says in Telegram.
The trial in the case of Artem Samsonov began in March. According to the investigation, in 2018, a communist showed a dildo to an 11-year-old boy at the Azure Coast recreation center in Vladivostok and told the child regarding the purpose of the item. In November, the deputy was arrested for two months, following which the preventive measure was extended.
The politician was accused of a crime under the article “other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed once morest a person under the age of 14” (clause “b” part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Artem Samsonov himself said that he saw the child for the first time on November 17, the day of his detention. The deputy does not admit guilt, calling the cause of the case “elections to prevent the victory of the communists.” The Communist Party of the Russian Federation says that the criminal prosecution of Artem Samsonov is a political order. He was elected three times as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorye.
