For the first time, with unprecedented specifications, Apple begins manufacturing its own screens on this date

Apple intends to start using its own screens in its mobile devices in early 2024 in an effort to reduce dependence on external suppliers and partners, Bloomberg News reported.

This step would reduce the price of devices manufactured by the company, which are the most expensive among competitors, and would also allow the company to produce large quantities of its phones.

Sources said that Apple aims to start using the screens it produces in manufacturing the latest generations of its smart watches, the “Apple Watch,” by the end of next year.

In a related context, the MacRumors website, which specializes in technology, revealed some of the features that are expected to come in the “iPhone 15 Pro” and “Pro Max” phones expected from Apple this year.

A different and powerful design for the two phones

He explained that the two phones will come with a titanium structure that incorporates solid buttons, a “Snapdragon X70” processor, and random access memory ranging from 6 to 8 GB, as well as a “USB” port of type “C”.

He added: For the “iPhone 15” and “iPhone 15 Plus” models, the most prominent upgrade will be the primary camera, which will be 48 megapixels.

Advanced triple imaging sensor

He pointed out that the phone will have an advanced triple imaging sensor integrated with it, which is a powerful advantage given its cost compared to the 12-megapixel sensors that Apple used.

And the site continued: Among the updates in the “iPhone 15” and “iPhone 15 Plus” is the adoption of a “USB Type-C” port, according to what was reported by the “Forbes” magazine.
