The voting process, which started yesterday in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), for the Presidential Elections on 14 May and the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections in Turkey, will continue on the weekend and public holiday on 1 May.

Voting in the TRNC, where there are 140,111 registered voters, will continue until 9 May in Nicosia and Famagusta. Voting in Güzelyurt will be held on 29, 30 April and 1 May.

Voting will continue on weekends and public holidays. Voters will be able to go to the polls between 09:00 and 21:00 in Nicosia and Famagusta, and between 09:00 and 18:00 in Güzelyurt on the weekend and on 1 May.

Voters can vote in any of the 26 ballot boxes, 16 of which are in Nicosia, 7 in Famagusta and 3 in Güzelyurt.

Voting centers are Atatürk Sports Hall in Nicosia, Lala Mustafa Pasha Sports Palace in Famagusta, and Dr. It has been designated as the Fazıl Küçük Sports Hall.

The Republic of Turkey (TC) Ambassador to Nicosia Metin Feyzioğlu stated that the official identity documents issued by the official institutions of the Republic of Turkey are sufficient to vote. Stating that it is also possible to use Sski identity cards, Feyzioğlu said, “As long as you have a photograph and write the TR ID number on it.” Pointing out that dual citizens can also vote, Feyzioğlu stated that every citizen of the Republic of Turkey whose name is included in the foreign electoral roll will easily vote.
