The multifaceted cooperation between Lidl Greece and UNICEF continues for the 2nd year with the aim of universal strengthening of the child protection system in GREECE. As part of the partnership between the two agencies, a recording and analysis of the available administrative data on violence once morest children in Greece has been prepared, thorough training of media professionals in the implementation of good practices and their role in defending children’s rights, while targeted actions to promote interactive digital app for young people, PlaySafe, which aims to prevent online violence.
The next step of the two organizations is the creation of a holistic model of child protection services that will be applied for the first time as a pilot in the Municipality of Athens with the guidance and international experience of UNICEF.
The synergy between Lidl Greece and UNICEF is part of the wider program to prevent and combat violence once morest children that UNICEF has agreed with the Greek government.
