For positive and well-targeted communication: a superb slideshow by Ms. Anna Boucard

Let’s start 2024 on a positive note.

The dream of Mrs. Anna Boucard, (former) farmer in Doubs, for Christmas was that “ some French people don’t forget our role ».

She illustrated her message on X (formerly Twitter) with a little slideshow which is a real gem.

Twelve superb photos to remind us that “Your diet starts here”. Here are four, emblematic of the Doubs (and the Jura massif).

This is an example of a message that should, in my opinion, inspire positive communication, targeted at citizen voters/consumers with whom agriculture – the one that feeds us – must (re-)connect. This is to be shown to institutional communicators.

Expressing your dismay and bad humor in the face of incompetence in the management of agricultural affairs – and, therefore, food – can allow the agricultural world to correct unwelcome, even disastrous, initiatives or decisions.

Ensuring the – informed – support of the population is even better.

The recent withdrawal of government plans to increase taxes on phytosanitary products and irrigation against a backdrop of farmers’ demonstrations is a perfect example of the need to change axis and gear: the absence of explanations for the Consumer usage has left the field open to agribashers and other critics of “agroindustry”.

This support is even more necessary when we see major distributors – not just the dear Michel-Édouard chain – focusing their on the lowest prices.

Coming back to Ms. Anna Boucard, an Internet search reveals a fascinating and recognized personality.
