January 1 is serious for Apple, which posted a spot online for the Apple Watch and its emergency call function. The spot chronicles how Jason, Jim and Amanda were able to call 911 when their situations did not allow for the use of a smartphone.
Amanda has been in a car accident, Jason is stranded far from the coast after a gust of wind blows him away from his paddle board, Jim has broken his leg on his farm. Fortunately, the Apple Watch allowed them to call for help.
The year 2022 could be placed under the sign of emergencies: rumor has it that Apple is developing messaging and satellite calling service for the iPhone, while aautomatic emergency call would be developing during a car accident.
